Choose by the shape and the job

Concrete slab

Useful when planning a pad, path panel or other slab of uniform thickness. Measure the footprint once, then enter how many identical slabs you need.

Post holes

For repeated fence or support holes of the same size. Concrete occupies the hole volume left after subtracting the embedded post.

Strip footing

For a continuous footing or trench with the same width and depth throughout the measured run.

Concrete wall

For cast concrete walls where rectangular full-depth openings remove material from an otherwise solid wall.

Concrete columns

For columns or solid piers of constant cross-section. Measure one column, then multiply by the number of identical pieces.

Concrete steps

For a solid stepped block. This volume model fills all space below each tread; it does not model a thin reinforced stair slab.

One material, six different measurements

A slab starts with a plan area and thickness. A strip footing uses the total run and a constant section. Walls deduct rectangular openings; post holes deduct the portion occupied by a post. Columns multiply a section by height and quantity. Steps add solid blocks above a flat base.

From volume to delivery

Ready-mix planning uses the required volume and a truck capacity you enter. Bagged mix uses the finished yield of one bag; bag weight alone does not determine it. Whole bags and loads round up. Optional cost uses your price per volume or per bag.

Bag-count example for a separate slab: 0.660 m³ divided by an assumed yield of 0.020 m³ per bag gives 33 bags. This yield is an example input, not a specification for every 40 kg or 50 kg bag. Check the selected product.

Measure the concrete boundary

Use the inside dimensions of the form or the actual excavation. Keep intersections from being counted twice. The app estimates the volume you describe; it cannot infer irregular ground, hidden voids or a structural specification.
